So as a new member to R2R figured I would share my nuvo with the rest of the group. I would say I'm a huge fan of the Innovative Marine line of AIO aquariums due to their stylish design and simplicity. If you two are a fan of IM aquariums, big or small, please share them here.

Thank you, but all those pics were taken using my Samsung Galaxy S6. The aquarium hobby is expensive enough so no fancy photography equipment here. Just patience and deleting tons of pics till ya find just the right one.

Thank you and Yes! I too love the aquariums for IM. They do make some nice AIO's. I think I mostly like that they are shallow so makes lighting options easier and maintenance as well. So I guess I am also a fan of shallow reef tanks as well.

Nope....small enough system where weekly 5gal water changes is all it needs. I have also switched my salt to the Red Sea coral pro and the aquarium seems to be really getting better results.

I have a Fusion 40 IM nice tank. You just need to watch with this older model they have a bad habit of cracking.
Type "nuvo 16 crack" in google and you get 51,100 hits.

Well so far so good....it's been up and running now for over two years and no issues. I also have a VorTech MP 10 on the side glass, so if it was going to break, pretty sure it would of already happened.

When I spoke with an IM representative, they assured me that the issues were with the first gen Nuvo 16 and the 2nd gen have thicker glass to prevent the same issue from happening. I guess he was right

Just wanted you to be aware of the issue. Lot's of people sold these tanks used over the years and the buyers do not know the history of the tank.

Thank you for the heads up. I did some research before i bought it. Was originally going to buy the bigger of he Nuvo line with the 24 or 26, but seemed as those were the ones that really had issues even after IM increased the glass thickness. Seamless glass aquariums can be challenging to make.
