Hello my name is pat, I am in the pittsburgh area.
Well...I have been into freshwater for 25+ years ..mentally I have been into saltwater/reef for 5 years , my first saltwater tank is in my office at work and is just over a year up and running , 150gl 48x24x30, trigger 36 sump, reef octopus 160 compact skimmer,reeflo return ,bio reactor ,gfo reactor, Radion xr30w pro X2 . Full apex system .hand made oak stand and canopy ..the good pics of it are on my old phone , I'm not read to show today pics ,I'm 7 weeks in on the hair algae war ..I'm winning ,but not to show off condition yet.
My second tank is the project I will be reaching out for help .
265gl. 7'x24"30 going to be in the family room with all equment in the basement. .and will be on a steel frame ***** in oak with inset bookcases. .
A lot of prep work has to be done ,plumbing, adding floor joists, and all that fun stuff ..
So..umm..that's why I'm here , looking for info , advice , and sharing ..
