I've been very nervous about doing this reef aquarium. Been reading a lot and researching since it's been 20 years since I had a tank. A lot has changed since then. I've been adding fish and coral extremely slow and testing the water sometimes daily.

The tank is a JBJ Advanced and I added a modified IM Desktop skimmer that... just... fits and is currently working perfectly. The break in period seemed to take a long time. Micro bubbles for just over two weeks and then, they were all gone.

Currently, my water seems perfect. I almost hate to even touch it at the moment.

Yesterday, I purchased my first coral. Green Frogspawn. For me, this was a momentous occasion! I do have a Tuxedo Urchin that has a bit of Xenia on its back... I didn't think that counted though. Both are doing excellent.

I have a Green Chromis, Royal Gramma, Lawnmower Blenny, Emerald Crab, Fire Shrimp and a itty bitty Cleaner Shrimp.
