Hi all I'm a newbie to reef2reef....SPR 1968 got me on here!! I'm based in the UK and got back into reef keeping after a loooong lay off of about 15 years!!!! So dipped my feet back in the salt water with a secondhand RSM 130d back in February of this year, got the bug back pretty quick and proceeded to make a few mods, media rack, tunze skimmer and then turned it into a rimless tank!! After a couple of months I made the decision to go all in and buy a RSM 500 max led, ( wanted the 650 but space put as top to that! ) I was moving house so this was ideal, set the new tank up and move the few fish I did have over to the new one, so this has been up and running now since June 7th this year and am loving every minute, it is a massive learning curve for me as this hobby has moved on so much from when I last kept salt water tanks!! Here are a few pics of where I'm at so far, get ready for loads of questions!!!!!!
