Hey These are the ones I was just looking at on Ebay from LEDwholesalers . I think it was like 50 bucks. I did not want to jump on it because I didnt know anyone who used it. They had all blue and a blue/white combo.

Nice to see someone is having some luck with it.

yup they are om ebay thats who i got them from i ordered the one with the mix as well going to see what i like better for like 60 bucks can go wrong

I noticed in your photo a bunch of your zoas are not opened. Is it because you had just turned on the light? Or are they not fully opening with the LED?

i just turned on the lights when i took the pic they open full when the lights are on

with youre 10 prop tank get 2 of them to cover the hole area

ok im confused maybe evil can chime in with the led's are you looking for watts or lumens or ??? I love the idea as well and have a tank i want to put in a tight place. This would be a perfect solution for me too but its a 14gal and its 18" tall is that gona be to tall? I just want to know how do you measure how much or many led's you need for a particular tank. Thank you
and
ric it says " palys these are 250 led blue lights mesurments" do you mean 225?

Wattage per LED is far more important than total wattage of the array. The amount of power a single LED has will determine how well it can get light to the bottom of the tank, and how much light/PAR that ends up being. A single 3W LED will be far more effective than 10 1/3W LEDs.

I can see the panels that have been listed as fairly effective for lower light corals in shallow tanks. The tests that I have done have shown that the PAR levels fall off hard past about 4" of water. For an 18" tall tank these will be completely ineffective, unless you place all the corals at the very top of the tank.

Anyone using these on 12 gallon nano cubes ? I would like to hear more feedback on these and pictures would help .

Yeah I found them on ebay after reading the original thread , was hoping original poster would reply or others that have them . If you try it , let me know through a post on this thread .

Can you post some photo's of your cube to show how it is mounted ? Also do you have the extra white light on because the LED panel is not enough light .
