And of course I would never purchase acros from them. However, the rest of their stuff is amazing! They have tons of high end Zoanthids and chalices at very fair prices, but they're all in the same tank/system. I have no way of getting interceptor and it's something is like to avoid, but what is the liklihood that I could introduce red bugs to my tank from a Zoa frag? Or even something like a seriatopora?

I dip all of my stuff, but I've watched friends deal with red bugs second hand and it's not a game I want to play.

Thanks for any responses.

Prevention is better than cure. But then again if you end up getting them they are not the worse thing to get rid of them. Few wrasses will do the trick. They don't kill anything, they just aggravate the coral.

Complain.... tell you you want to buy BUT... you wont be until this issue is fixed. Least serious attempts to control the issue.

If they fix it, better for everyone..the store you and other buyers who may not know.
If not well...I wouldnt risk it.

They're a pretty darn well kept store except for that. I'm pretty sure they know about it, but I wish they would just not even have acros. They only have a few frags, the rest of their probably 600g system is all the other beautiful frags I want to buy :(

I would not buy unless their tanks are clean. It's a headache when it's in your tank.

What's wrong with buying from them if 1) they'll discount it 2) you can qt and treat them. It's a risk I'd take in a separate tank for a huge discount.
