Survive?

Welcome to R2R!
What kind of light is it?
And yes 1 day of no light will not harm them.

It's an odyssea t5 but order the marineland advanced led strip so that should work better?

Tough call as I don't know much about that led strip.
With any change of lighting make sure to acclimate your corals to it

I'm starting to wonder if this is enough or if u need fluorescents or halides

I have a similar marineland fixture but it has twice as many LEDs. I'm sorry to say it doesn't grow anything. The light it puts out doesn't even look very good, has a bit of a yellow cast to it. I replaced it within a month. I tried it on my fugue but it wouldn't even grow chaeto. I currently use it on my quarantine tank.

My mushroom, tree corals , and polyps are still alive with this light. But I do agree the yellow tint is a huge turn off and looking into making my own ballist for a florecent too go along with it
