I have a NOVA extreme pro 72" fixture, the left side is visibly dimmer than the right side and the bulbs are only a few weeks old. Both sides have the setup of bulbs. looking for any ideas as to what might cause this?

Switch the bulbs from the left to right and right to left. After switching, if the left side is still dim your ballast is bad. If the dimness goes to the right side your bulb(s) are suspect.

Could be that the ballast is on its way out. Have you tried twisting the bulbs to ensure that they are making a good connection with the endcaps? IIRC, the NEP fixtures are wired in series so that if one bulb burns out, all of the bulbs run by that ballast won't fire. Perhaps a bad connection could cause all of them to run a bit dimmer? Just a shot in the dark though...

thx i will be swapping sides later ths evening to see what happens
