My BioCube 29 is still cycling but I’ve been trying to narrow down a stocking plan and would like either feedback on the list or a suggestions on what order the fish should be added.

I’ve got plenty of little caves in my rockscape and am running the tank with the lid on. Substrate is CaribSea Reef Sand.

THE LIST
Royal Gramma
Clownfish pair
Purple fire fish
Pink streak wrasse

I want a Royal Gramma because it was the first fish I bought for my first saltwater tank. The Clownfish pair type is up in the air as I was going to let my wife pick them out. I wanted to add one “splurge” fish and was between the Pink Streak Wrasse and a Blue Spot Jawfish.

Other fish I was considering are:
Midas Blenny
Yellow Watchman
SixLine Wrasse
Green Clown Goby

I have a 34 gallon and my stock list is:

2 clowns
Springeri damsel
Purple firefish
Blue neon goby
Yellow half bar goby (about to go in fromQT
Yellow watchman /pistol pair

I mighg add a flasher wrasse as my last fish.

Youre stock list is fine but i might add the gramma last. Also i would skip the six line, they can be real jerks.

@kevgib67 May I ask what 6 fish you currently have? I have a biocube 32 with the following. 2 clownfish, royal gramma, lawnmower blenny and a spotted mandarin (doing awesome). Was wanting to add a watchman / pistol combo but was worried 6 was to many.

Nice list of fish! I have sixline wrasse , 2 clowns, yellow tailed damsel, royal gramma and a diamond watchman goby ( about 4 1/2 inches, I didn’t realize how fast and big they grow!). They have all been in there for about 18 months. If you’re like me and enjoy maintenance and weekly water changes you should be fine. I would not even consider adding a seventh fish to my tank. Best of luck and keep me updated on what you decide.
