My LOW BUDGET mixed reef tank

I'm not able to buy the whole things at the same time. So I buy it as soon as I have extra money.

This tank was established at the end of NOVEMBER 2015.
target: SPS tank

1. SCAPE: 100% dry rock

2. DISPLAY TANK: 105 x 75 x 72 cm

3. STAND: 105 x 75 x 100 cm
stainless steel, white paint.

4. SUMP: 75 x 75 x 45 cm
SKIMMER: BUBBLE KING MINI 200
ZEOVIT REACTOR: ??? (local brand, given by my friend)
PUMP: SPARKLE DRAGON 9000 Lt/Hr x 2

5. WAVEMAKER: SPARKLE DRAGON WP-40 x 2

6. LIGHTING: not yet arrived (still saving money at that time)

7. CHEAP LED LIGHTING borrowed from friend.
running pump only for 2 month long without any zeolite, additive and proper lighting.
using natural sea water.

I ran zeovit 14 days cycle at the middle of DEC 2015
(I've borrowed ATI SUNPOWER 54Wx8 from my friend)
then I take all my fish and frags back from my friend

then i bought a GROTECH TEC4 for Ca, Mg, KH, and ZEOstart 3
and added a freshwater tank (RO water taken from my drinking fountain)

everything run good, then I decide to order ATI POWERMODUL 39W x 8.
at the same time I also ordered 40 Kg of "black hawaiian aragonite" live sand.

I got my stuffs early FEB 2016. Then I pour whole black live sand into my tank....

the next day...
my whole SPS turned white.......R.I.P.

I gave all aragonite and black aragonite to my friend. then I bought another 30 Kg of KZ aragonite.
(feeling sad wasting money like this)

the original scaping was broken.
I was too lazy to make new scaping, so i decided to add some more dead rock only.
and re-doing 14 days zeovit cycle.

after few months not taking any picture,

this is my tank now, no more target, I will buy anything i can afford. no matter it is reef safe or not.

I put a sinking ship on MARCH 2016. I'm not sure if the paint is reef safe or not
but until now seems like everything is fine.

I made a big hole on it. Now my baby snowflake eel stay inside the hole.

He can pretend to be a sea monster! No idea if it's reef safe as is...nor if it will hold up in their either. A coat of uv resistant clear acrylic, would help that though.

he's only 10 cm, too small to eat any fishes in my tank. but he is still alive until today without eating for about 3 months

Low income and low budget are two different things lol. You've pieced together something nice that any beginner would love to have. Honestly though, I was expecting a 50 gallon with a hang-on back filter lol

I'm excited to see your shipwreck in the tank. Few people are willing to step outside the sterile psuedo-natural world of reef keeping (myself included). Great cable managment too!

my angelfish is shy no more ( bought 10 days ago)
no more hiding when i stand closer.

2 weeks ago, ich kill 90% of my fishes. Then i decided not to waste anymore money on buying expensive fishes.

Yesterday, i bought this one ( I don't know what the name is)
bright yellow.
quite expensive, but really love the color.

My friend asked me to frag one for him.

its still glowing when all lights off
