My LFS has had this beautiful Mag for about 3 weeks. It has a beautiful purple base with neon green tips. In the three weeks they had it it has been doing fine. The mouth was a little opening hut nothing alarming. Well I decided to get it after a week long debate.
I got it home, dripped it, and added it to my tank. I had to shut off my power heads cause it couldn't hold on, after it got a grip in turn one power head back on. Which proceeded to push the nem over. So I shut it back off and tried a different place with better results. Then it decided to go on a walk about(forgot to mention that I had noticed the mouth was already opening a lot). After it finished its walk around I notices the mouth was huge and it looked to be spitting its guts.
After filling my QT tank and adding the needed equipment, i moved the nem over so I could start around of cipro treatment. It still has a huge mouth and is inflating and deflating, but is stuck firmly to the side of the tank and still has decent color so I'm hopeful.
I knew getting this that they are very touchy, but wanted to give it a run anyways.
And now for a few pics, I'll try to get them in order. First two pics are the original spot, third pic is the second try(you can see the mouth open wide), 4th is right after going into QT, 5th is the next morning. So far today it has fully deflated and now is fully inflated. And has had the second round of cipro.
