My Majano Wand - Sucks

Just spent $150 and bought a Majano Wand through Marine Depot. Read the instructions. Plugged it in and killed 5 Aiptasia. Then the unit died. Cheap piece of crap. Spent about 10 minutes fiddling with it and got it to work a bit more. Contacted customer service and they are thinking I will send it back so they can repair it and then send it back to me. Really? it was crap right out of the box. Am I wrong in thinking that for $150 I should get a good working unit? I really dont want a rebuilt one. I paid good money for a good working tool.
