Well maybe not so meager . I knew I was obsessed but now I know I am a chaliceaholic......I have been breaking down my 220 and consolidating stuff into my wifes 125. Well lets just say she was less than pleased with her sandbed being taken up my my addiction. SOOOO Now I am setting up a small tank just for the chalices and they have all been removed from her tank to my frag tank for the transition. Well enough typing. On to the pics

This will be the new home. I am doing a water change today from the 125 and the water from it will be added to this tank to help shorten the cycle time. I am using Marco rock and Marco sand. I will seed the sand and rock with some sand out of the 220 since it has been set up the longest. Shouldn't take but a couple of weeks.

I got the Marco course sand but it still had a lot of really fine sand in it so I sifted it all out and this is the grain size I ended up with. It is smaller than crushed coral but should stay put.

Great collection. BTW, great call on the marco sand (well the new grain size). Finally.... a great shot of the actual grain size. The fine was too much for me in my 125 (storms always covering my caps and chalices).

Yeah I had the original Marco sand in my 220 and with 2 mp40s it was EVERYWHERE! I hated it. This had a lot of fine sand mixed in but I sifted about 50lbs if it an ended up with ~25lbs of the grain size in the picture. It was a little time consuming but I think it'll be worth it in the long run. Thank you for the compliment!

Awesome collection and new tank !! Your hard work and planning will surely be rewarded.

Thanks, Greg! I am going to have to get some more of that strawberry lemonade chalice from you again ( I think thats what it was called). Mine got knocked over onto my Yumas, and well the Yumas had a nice dinner......

Sweet Collection.......I can't wait to see this tank up and running.....

Darren

Thanks Darren! It should only be a couple of more weeks! I'll keep this thread updated!

Yum yum for the Yumas...I crack myself up. My Strawberry Lemonade has had some issues lately as well :( DTPollard has some I'm sure.

Yeah I laugh about it now but I was not happy when it happened. That was a great piece. Thanks for the lead on getting another one! BTW that pink Cadillac I got from you has finally decided it likes my tank and is taking off. It looks really nice!
