My Miami hurricane chalice is receding! Help

So recently on one side, my chalice is dying... why I don't know. Nothing is around it to kill or sting or bother it. No fish in tank to nip at it. And I checked all my parameters at the LFS and he said the only thing out of range was my ph, which I now have corrected... it still hasn't stopped receding. .. I don't know why. All other side and ares are growing amazingly and colorful. Just one side all the sudden after 8 months of nothing wrong, it now has a issue.

What are your parameters? How long have you had it? Any noticeable parasites?

No parasites just your normal cop pods, and I've had it for 8 + months. And I don't run test like I should for parameters, I just take me water in and have it tested to see what's in need of change.

Dip in Lugols or Revive

I would dip it but chalices tend to like higher alk and higher magnesium. At least higher magnesium always worked best for me

I know u said nothing is around it to bother it but have you checked at night. I have this chalice that has a couple very long tentacles that come out every now and agin.

That tentacle is twice as long as the chalice. But I will try and add magnesium first. And I also have revive dip. If it starts to get bad
