She's already split once for me. Looks like one of them is getting ready to split again.
I have a feeling once I seperate them and put them on own discs they will split again.
Really wasn't at all impressed by them when I first got them but now that i have proper lighting and everything stabilized gonzo is growing on me lol
Afterburner is splitting as well.

@Mr_Knightley I am playing with violet setting. I turned it up 1% yesterday and today and noticed immediate difference in magic carpet and quite a few others far as perkiness goes. Going to try and see how far I can reasonably push it next cpl weeks.

That is intriguing! I'll have to test out the same increase to see if that would be a consistent result.
The shrooms are looking amazing! Especially the no-name bounce.

Right on. I feel like i have a good base standard using the brs reccomended settings for my lamp for softies.
I'm only running around 75-125 depending where they sit. Was getting much less than that with my reef radience black box the way I had it set up. Not much was getting 75 par between 35-75 I guess. Different animal here though and some of my shrooms it feels responded better to probably the spectrum if anything.
Going to play with it i bet. I've personally seen shrooms doing well under 200 par. Doing really well honestly.
I have alot of wiggle room to play with as I get things dialed in.
See what happens i guess:)

I have the lamps set up side by side im using as visual refference. It will be a nice experiment!

Crappy picture but this new electus seems to have perked up quite a bit to the higher violet range. She's about as big as a plug if not a little bigger:)
Regular JB is acting like it likes the change as suttle as it is so far.
The JBs did do better under the cheap black box for whatever reason it had to be the more violet spectrum.
Everyone's still waking up during ramp up:)

I just upped the UV in the tank, waiting to see if I get any improvements! If I see anything special develop I may try that UV treatment I mentioned a few days ago.

Awesome cant wait to hear about your findings. Any idea on par where your shrooms are sitting?


Just wanted to add if anyone comes across this insanity that. I tried gradually increasing all of my blue channels together. Not sure if it was too much altogether or if it was a particular spectrum they didn't like.
But going off of brs findings and that violet spike they i just had a hunch to stick to the violet spectrum and slowly, gradually increase it.
Nothing scientific here but I definetely have seen some of my shrooms perk up, lay down and sprawl out more than they where.
No ill effects to any shrooms so far

I have no clue on PAR, I need to rent a meter at some point. My shrooms are also scattered across the scape in many different places, so it's hard to get a general idea lol
 
Also cant help but walk by the mushroom tables and see how happy they are.
I dont think they have ever been this happy honestly:)

Sorry but not really sorry how bright this green JB is ;) Stunning. Ramping up the violet is for sure laying her down and bringing out her colors. :)

Electus for comparison. While not as bright she is getting comfortable and almost dbl the size I got her already:)

Magic Carpet. She's making a huge come back. Hasnt been this inflated in awhile since I bumped the violets up. She definetly was affected by nitrate overdose but coming back around.

The shrooms are looking amazing! I think the increase in UV is really doing it for them.
Speaking of UV, I increased mine yesterday and am already noticing differences! It really is amazing how such a small change can do so much.
Also, I wanted to alert you that AquaSD has some incredible bounces in stock right now! I wishlisted all of them for the Secret Santa lol But there are some amazing ones, I'll give you the link to the shroom page:

Wanted to post this one here as well.
I'll be honest i can't explain, or get pictures of how bright and vivid both the new electus and green JB is. Probably the most vividly colored corals I've seen in person on any reef.
That being said this green JB is definetely making new electus look average but digging the pizza face and still a great addition nontheless;)

Ahhh yes! I am going to check out the ASD link for sure:) thank you for that!
And awesome. Yeah im kinda blown away how such a suttle change can make such a huge impact. I have been seriously contemplating going 1 more percent today. Nothing is showing anything but positive reaction to the change.
I'm trying to take things easy but may wait until tomorrow.
Although I do have a cpl shrooms not laying flat yet.
I would bet if I gradually increased just a cpl more % everything would be laying down.

It should be interesting to test for sure, so far my shrooms are loving it so I can't complain lol I reduced my whites, reds and greens as well because they were way too high.
I'm hoping I can join this current ASD auction going on, there are some mighty fine nems up for offer lol

As I bump it up I may reduce my green channel right now i have red and green running at 3% only for the visual.
That being said i know where my par is sitting. I have a feeling if I spike my violet subtly I can bring my whites up a little.
Either that or cool blues. I'm going to see what kind of reaction I get gradually.
I know i can push another 50-100 par easily. Just have to keep an eye on things:)

It has some great potential to become an OG competitor, or at least get to the level of the Sunkist. If I had the funds I would possibly nab that one, there were I think 5 more but they disappeared in less than 12 hours lol
