Right on. I think my shrooms like the lamp at height i had it at so seriously considering getting bars for edge coverage.

no telling what mine like. I have them getting tans at the top, and the same ones (babies) starting new colonies in the shade at the bottom.

Thank you. I figured if I could grow a reef in this set up I could grow one anywhere lol. Also get a good feel for what I need to do when I start going after torches and other things.
This is all a practice run really. But definetely helps to have a dedicated system to only shrooms.

Almost have wife talked into it. I told her I was thinking about letting one of the moms go her first reaction was "NO" haha. Yes the one I want to let go on right looks like it will end up pushing more bubbles than mom on left. Can see them coming in all over the place.
She started as little tiny piece of foot with a sliver of bubble from the mom on left when I tried to move her and accidentally tore her off rack.

Yes I have a tomini tang and red corris wrasse in left side and leopard wrasse on right side

I love Tominis.

When I bought the tank, they said there was an orange shoulder Tang in there. Ended up being a really pretty 4.5-5" Tomini. From the night we loaded everyone back up, he went into hiding and wasn't found for a few days. His eyes had whited over and he wasn't doing well. I caught him easily and put him into the sump. Unfortunately he didn't make the night
