My nano tank

Is that coralline algae? This small pink dot on the glass

Yep looks like the start

I bought some new corals plus caulerpa. I know it’s questionable choice but I just love look of it. I have gorgs that I always wanted so much

They are not open yet so I’ll upload new photo soon

Unfortunately, around 1,5month ago, I noticed my smaller fish on the floor when I woke up. It was already dried, must have jumped out of the tank when I was sleeping. It was very bad experience for me and for some time I didn’t want to think of getting a new one.
Until today when I just bought my little Fillet, as I learned that there is guy from my neighborhood who has the whole school of them. I was afraid that my big female will be aggressive or something, but very surprisingly they both started to swim together suddenly and what is more interesting, the female is performing the „shaking dance” when my little male approaches her. I thought it’s typical male behavior, but I realized maybe she isn’t the female yet? No idea, I’m so happy they are happy together :D

From some time I’m struggling with lots of ugly algae on the glass and rock, sometimes covering my corals, especially gorgs. So I have to clean it good each week, but still some of it always stays inside. I’m not gonna use any chemistry I guess, my tank seems very healthy, there are lots of different creatures inside the rock or in the sand. I love my macroalgae, it tries to spread to more places but I cut it from time to time.

I’ve made some changes and I rearranged my tank a bit. I’ve always liked gsp so much but unfortunately what I bought was not classic gsp, it was more of briareum that were not so strong green and without these white circles. With featherish polyps. So I bought this time the real one, strong green and I decided to change the rock placement. I got rid of macroalgae, I’ve put out most of the corals that I had and went into total gsp tank. I want to have beautiful green grass all over my tank :) not only though, I like sarco as well so I put rock in front of my scape with three of them plus some zoa. There is also my favorite Duncan on the sand. Now it doesn’t look pretty yet since gsp need to grow and cover the whole rock in the middle, but I can’t wait to see that. Hopefully in few months it’ll happen. I’ve changed my salt as well from seaforest to Red Sea pro. It’s rich salt, but wanted to provide as much elements as possible.

I left old briareum in hope that the new gsp will cover it anyway, or they will thrive together as well, anyway I’ve heard gsp grows much faster than briareum.

I bought hermit crab. I decided that because I’m having small problem with some green and brown algae here and there, he’s slowly cleaning my rock. Unfortunately he killed my conch snail, just for fun. He didn’t even take his shelf, and I had to take it out since the dead body provoked the algae bloom too much.

My crab also changed its shelf, I was worried it’s a bit too big but he seems to enjoy it. On the bottom of the pic there’s his old shelf, and on the top just near the sarco it’s the new one, pretty big change.

And some pics of my corals

Gsp didn’t open totally yet, there are 3 big pieces and few little ones that I glued randomly over the big rock.

I’ve changed my concept again, but this time for good :) so first of all, I have new lamp Maxspect l130. It’s huge change to what I had before. My corals are opening like never before, I can see that especially with my zoa. They open so well as soon as they got new light.

So gsp is back to the front rock. I received some new corals just yesterday. There’s is Kenya tree on the lest that is laying down, but it’s better then yesterday evening. I’m waiting it to stand up.

As you can see, I bought also red monti, why not? I have good salt, good light, let’s see what will happen. I got pavona coral as well, clove polyp, tiny anthelia but not visible on pic, and cabbage leather.

And the cabbage leather, yesterday I found perfect spot for it so I glued it there, but it is looking very sad and idk, like about to collapse. I’m waiting, hopefully it’ll stand up. It’s apparently shedding now as well.

My clowns look happy and that’s the most important :) can’t wait to see the real growth with the new lamp.

Gsp growing so good:

And the question, is it really anthelia? Because today while cleaning, as soon as I switched off my filter, it started pulsing like Xenia

Unfortunately my small clown died two days ago :( it just disappeared and I couldn’t find him anywhere. Maybe something was wrong with him idk, his body is nowhere to be found. He didn’t jump because I covered the tank over the night. I’ve changed 3l of water and I saw my hermit crab like this

I took out his shelf and what I found

He is alive, he was just shedding :)
