ok I need to work on rocks(getting them taller so I'll be able to put in sps....) what should I do???

First let me turn my computer on its side.....;) I would recommend drilling the rocks and using acrylic rods to build up your structure. What kind of flow you have in there???

First move it away from the glass so it will be easier to clean and it should help the flow. Plus all the rocks don't have to be flat. Tilt them up by using a smaller piece under one side. Use some puffy or the acrylic rods. Get more holes in the rock structure for fish to swim through and water to flow.

flow is the built in ones pointed to opposite sides of the tank in the front then a power head in the top Right corner agitating surface and the other side. The reason I have it on the glass is because the rock wouldnt get enough support from the two colums I have in back holding it up.

aside from it being up against the glass, i don't see anything fundamentally wrong with it. it's about as tall as the rock stack in my nano. plenty of room for sps to grow UP. ;)

Went ahead and rotated it for man. Love cubes like this, a lot of possibilities

thx. couldnt figure how to rotate.... anyways ya this is about a month old pic and my tank has a lot less algae and a mini colony of acans(that crap frag I was stupid enough to buy at the bottom died)

Sorry it took me so long forgot user and pass. Anyways mixed. I'll get un updated pic. Addded a crocea clam acan mini colony. lost my nem got two ricordias and some star polys and sand sifting star. Going to add 5 more small ble legged Hermits and a Tiger cucumber I think its called... Thats about it.

In addition to the other suggestions regarding aquascape techniques, zip ties work well too. You can create some cool over hangs and other structures by drilling a small hole in the rocks and zip tying them together.

Thanks man. Was thinking about getting another colum and making an overhand but couldnt think of How I'd make it work. Spent $100 yesterday alone so I thought It best to wait.

Waiting is what reefing is all about!I spent $250 yesterday on test kits and pumps! It never ends!

hahahahaha i know. Plus Phyto feast and blaahhh. Least my dad got that R.O. Unit and I got a pump for buckets of pre-mixed saltwater now. Was beginning to be a pain in the *** to head out to ReefCreation twice every week just for a couple buckets or R.O. The custom 300g or so tank came in and they're gonna start construction on the stand and the elcetricians coming to hook everything up once we get the equiopment in. Gonna be a huge project and take a long time but It'll be sweet
