My Naso tang needs diagnosis

The top of my Nasos pectoral fin has a white lump. It’s definitely not ich and doesn’t appear to be growing bigger, but it’s also not going away. It’s been there over a month. He’s eating 3+ times per day and my water quality is good enough that my sps are rockin. I know it’s not a water chemistry problem and no one in the tank messed with him either.
I’m by no means good at diagnosis.

Can anyone tell me what this is?

To me, it looks as much like lymphocystis as anything. Lymph is a virus, and while it's not curable, it's also generally not particularly dangerous. Sort of the "herpes cold sore" of the aquarium world. Quality water and nutritious diet (feel free to supplement with vitamin and HUFA products such as Selcon or Zoecon) will generally see it fading away.

Can I soak his algae sheets in selcon before feeding? Is that the best way for him to ingest this product?

You can absolutely drip some selcon over the nori and let it soak in a bit before feeding.

That's pretty much how I do it; glide a drop across a lower left area, middle and upper right area, then fold it over itself twice to evenly disperse it across the sheet. I let it soak it in for a minute or two and then attach it to the clip. Lympho is mostly harmless, just as others have said, maintain water quality and it should be fine.
