My nem is shrinking?

Over the course of about 1 week my nem has gone from really full but not bubbly to shrinking back. The only change is I got three small clown fish and one of them has taking a liking to it and started to host in it a bit each day.

Pics for comparison, about a week difference. I could just be over thinking so I thought I would reach out to see what you find folks thought.

I can get my params later but the tank is a year old and params are really steady. The only change in the past 2 months or so is the new clowns.

It has not split before. That last pic was taken minutes ago. Is that what I am witnessing or is it two soon to tell?

How long does a split typically take?

I was assuming that the first picture was the after picture and the second picture was the before picture. To me it looks like it is split down through the mouth and has the torn side tucked down into the rocks for protection. Have you searched around for the other half if it has split?

I didn't even think about it splitting until you said something. I went and without moving any rocks I just looked around and it sure looks to me like it's splitting. I assumed that the other half was "melting away" because it looked like it just disappeared but looking underneath and back behind the rock I can see some full tentacles!

Man that was fast! It looked normal yesterday, this morning was smaller then usual, and 8 hours later, I thought I lost half of it...

If you are a first time anemone owner (like me) that can be scary!
