My Nem Split

It was 113 days ago that my Nem split. For most of this time, the two pieces stayed close together with the main piece overwhelming the "off spring".

A few days ago, the main piece re-positioned itself, leaving the "off spring" completely exposed. Have a look...

I have not done anything and am letting nature take it's course, other than feeding it mysis. Is there something I should be doing?

Upon posting the photo, I am noticing that the foot of the off spring seems to be lifting, perhaps the little guy is getting ready to reposition itself?

I wouldn't do anything. They are going to move wherever they want. It's a very interesting stretch you've got going on with the larger one though!

Yes it is. That's new. It never did that before.

I'm currently running a pair of Orbit IC Loop which I will be doubling (just came today) over the weekend. I'm uncertain if it is reaching for more light (I don't know why it would be after all of these months in the tank) or if it is moving closer to the flow of an AquaClear 70 HOB that I use to supplement flow.
