Waterfall foam, I suggest to buy 2 cans for ten gallons I ran out.Okay, I've got to ask... How did you do your wall?!? That's so cool. I'm seriously thinking about doing a nano for my office, and this would be perfect!
So I DID NOT USE great stuff foam. I used a black waterfall foam and I sprayed it in and packed it with rock salt. I gave it a few days to dry and then washed it off. Then I would fill it drain it repeatedly till no salt was left.I've never heard of it... where do you get it? And what did you use to paint it with???
If you attempt this there are a few precautions for reef tanks. I don't know what difference it makes but most people put a layer of resin on top.
Is that why you can't use great stuff? The background looks fantastic!
People use the resin to seal the foam and to attach sand to the surface. Some of those foam products have additives to stop UV damage or weathering. Those additives can be harmful in a reef.
