So much has changed since i was last here...we are at 15 months now....and there are 30 fish in the system now since the A/C disaster of May 2014 smh...luckily i didn't lose any coral....but all my yellow tangs were lost...here's updated pictures

Also my NO SKIMMER technique has changed....as you see from the earlier pictures i was doing well...but i now use a skimmer...Note: My system was fine lol...but the amount of water changes needed to keep it stable was killing me ...so i got together with my friend Cruz Arias and developed a new lighting system for my fuge to enhance growth therefore reducing Nitrates & Phosphates....we like to call it a "WORKING FUGE" lol because it really is a work horse...i removed the Carbon (Chemipure Blue ) from my system ...with the new fuge setup it is no longer needed...so on to the pictures

The light i now use...120w LED 3,000k ...this light runs 24/7 over my fuge..i manually flip the Cheato over every other day or so. It was purchased at Lowe's.

I mounted it with this bulb holder...Note: I had to cut part of the fixture bulb housing off so the bulb could fit....but it gave a more custom look than that huge silver UFO lol that everyone uses

My fuge produces enough Cheato to fill two 1 gallon storage bags every 10 days like clockwork. ..that's what i cut...what i leave in my fuge after cutting these 2 bags worth is enough to fill 3 more bags...
