Planning on changing the sand in my tank to Regular Live sand instead of the Black Hawaiian because we can't see everything we need to see in it.

Thanks, I switched to the white sand because I found out the black was to abrasive for the sand sifters (all gone) & I plan on getting some jawfish for the tank.

I have to admit I like the white sand the best, but I have seen some awesome tanks with black sand

So Bad News, the Fire shrimp didn't make it & I haven't seen the Wheeler's Gobies since I put them in the tank 2wks ago.
LA has given me credit for all since they didn't have replacements. That's why I like to do business with LA, they take care of you.

OK, just added 3 Pajama Cardinals & 2 Skunk Cleaner shrimp. My Flame immediately Turned upside down so one of them could clean him LOL.

Interesting situation. I bought a couple Yellowhead Jawfish 2 wks ago & after coming home from vacation last wk one of them decided it would be nice to have house mates so it moved in with my bonded par of Wheeler's gobies & their shrimp friend. Lol

In building my stand I used 2x4s & 2x6 for the frame, 3/8 Red Oak for the outside cover including a secret door for the skimmer. Also added a new grow light for the refugium. You can see some of the framing in the pics, 2x4 in corners & 2x6 in the middle. Not sure if I'm going to leave the light hanging or svrew it into the bottom of the stand top.
