I've been working on my new system a few months. The tank is 84"l x 24"w x 32"h. The stand is around 46" high power coated steel. I built a bookshelf on each side and skinned the stand with wood. The total unit is 10' wide and 8' tall. I have 3x400w halides and 4x36" t5 atinics. Two 6105 tunze powerheads, everything is controlled with an aquacontroller apex. It has a 75g sump a 40g fuge and a hurricone cat3 skimmer. It is still very empty, but eventually I'll fix that.

Wow, that's nearly restaurant sized. Suggestion: set up a table for two in front of it and serve H@rry and his wife a steak dinner.

Are the inverted bottles on the sides part of the system?

H@rry and M@rry are great people. If I set up a table they will be at the top of the list.
The inverted bottles on the sides are a concession to my wife lol. They are vases from hobby lobby. I put the aquarium in the living room, she got to decorate the bookshelves.
The aquarium plumbing is drilled through the floor. The sump, fuge and the rest of the nessessary stuff is in the basement. The stand is empty underneath with the exception of the electrical stuff.

Sounds like a good place to keep the stepladder and the mop!

Nice tank, and great build qualities... my wood workmanship stinks.. I wish I were as talented as you are!

Thanks y'all. It is my first attempt at woodwork. It isn't perfect, but I think it turned out pretty well.

Wow, Lookin good! Set up a table in front of that tank and we will be there; steak or no steak!

Very nice tank. It makes me get excited about setting up my 240 gallon and after seeing your bookcases I think that will be a nice addition to mine as well. I had thrown around the idea but after actually seeing another tank with it, I really like it.
