My new 60 gallon cube!

Thanks to broncozoas advice the tank is stable again.. fish are well and some corals made it through but man was it a battle
thanks for the love

My heater was in the sump. The temps dropped below 0 so the difference between temps of the tank and sump was nearly 8degrees at one point it caused a crash... BroncosZOA helped me big time

Well my Japanese led died on me... Fortunately I still have the LEDs marineland donated after the storm. I know they get a bad rap but they're lighting the tank just fine for me. In fact they're brighter than the old light. I'm going to document my growth from here

do you have a sump for this tank? if so try putting the heater in there. This tank also looks like it needs more live rock :)

i definately need more live rock!!! lol and yes i have a sump but with this winter we had temps in the negatives it caused a major difference in temps between the sump and the tank which caused a crash which led to the loss of many of my corals.. i'll stare at an ugly heater knowing my tank is stable :)

LOve the photo with your daughter. :)

In my opinion I think your anemone is starving. The tentacles looks stubbier than before and the mouth does not look tight. you might want to look into that.

you're right, its on the recovery. i had a horrible crash and this is the only one that survived. its colors are coming back and its fed every other day. I appreciate your concern but i am on the track of bringing it back

Thanks we work on it regularly I'm putting in an order for some real reef rock and will go from there. Fortunately the tanks stable now
