Banshea sumps are great buys. They're priced very fair. Clean, good looking, functional, they will customize builds for you for a pretty good price. And again, because this hobby costs an arm and two legs... Very well priced. Sumps like these from other manufacturers would be 50-100% more expensive.

Nice colors. Only my color was available at the time. How do you like it so far???

Not very, the louder part of the sump is the overflow from the first to second chamber if running triton which will probably quiet down after it slimes up. BRS proved that 90s do not impede flow like the old reef rumors state. Plus the point of the herbie setup is to dial it all in.

Thanks for the info guys! I run Triton on my 75 and am going into my second set of chemicals soon. It's really looking great now after about 5 months and the refugium is finally taking off. I'm using a 20L I built for this method to make sure I was going to stick with it. The sump upgrade is in my plans soon & I am excited to see this option. The sock use is awesome because I use a sock 2 days a month when I do a general cleaning.

Got the 40 breeder out and the Bashsea in. I still gotta clean up the wires and aquascape a little more, but so far so good. I can believe how much more water it holds. Such a well designed system. Very adjustable on water levels for every chamber. I need a good refuge light to put my cheato into the sump. Oh and I added the apex 2.0. Wow, on 3 it is equal to my old pump.

Did anyone else get one yet? I want to see your install!

I just spoke with Steve Friday via email. The delay was to get the other models sold or at least lower inventory levels (premium told me that)before delivering the new "smart swamp series", that the name per Steve's email. There will be a few different colors, as I asked for the Ferrari series colors(actually had the 60" Ferrari and it was gorgeous). So while being long it was too narrow for my needs, but Steve's acrylic builds are like fine artwork! Can't wait to get a 48X20X20 triton style sump in black and red, ASAP! It amazes me that more vendors aren't carrying his high quality products, either way he builds high end acrylic at reasonable prices.

Well the smart series is locked into premium aquatics for the first 45 days i just wish i could get some actual email response back from premium kind of rediculous

But according to a comment to me from bashsea on fb they are in transit thinking im going blue for my im 100int build and going to use one section for a skimmer and the other for a frag area
