Downsized homes now that the nest is empty. I finally have more money with smaller house and kids done with college so starting the old tank over again. Below is the tank in cycle mode and some picks of progression to this point

I decided to have 2 salty tanks so I changed the 280 fresh to salt, I used some dry reef rock I had cleaned and had stored in my garage.

I just bought a bigger used sump for it and will be adding an old skimmer someone gave me.
 
This will be replacing the smaller sump, this will be an all softies tank a. I just picked up this rock with 40 huge shrooms on itt

As for the 180 it’s doing great have been adding a few corals and they look like they like the new pad.
