70x30x24 custom
display by ReefSavvy with matching custom stand from Benner Woodworking. 3x 250 watt MH, custom sump and orphek helix 5000 skimmer.

Apex installed but just monitoring for now. Just bought a Neptune Dos for my 2-part so looking forward to tinkering with that.

Please forgive the algae. Cycle just completed last week so time for a cuc for some algae control.

Will be primarily sps with a pair of crosshatch triggers as the center pieces. Well that is the plan anyway.

It's a great looking tank. Don't rush it especially with sps so you don't get discouraged. Take your time and make sure the levels are kept steady and you will succed

Oh don't worry about that. I have been keeping SPS for a long time. Well I was till my old display crashed while I was out of town last month!

What a mess!

Did you have a long wait for your tank and stand, hopefully mine on its way soon. lets see some more pics of your set up. How many Lbs of rock is that and what kind. my tank just crashed about a month ago i believe some type bacterial bloom whole tank was white fortunately i had fragged most of my coral and had them in a separate frag tank waiting on my new setup

I waited nearly a year from first consultation to delivery. roughly 100 lbs of dry rock picked up from various sources. Was stockpiling equipment and rock for a few years for the build. Two 6105 and two 6155 tunze controllable pumps for circulation and a 1073.11 for the return. System is maturing quickly and sps frags I picked up last month are looking good. Should be back in full acquisition mode in a few weeks including a pair of crosshatches. can't wait!

New additions
Well not all at once. Magnificent six weeks ago followed by the majestic three weeks later and the whitetail bristletooth on Tuesday.

Thanks. it's great to finally be seeing the main display coming to life. Next step is getting my frag/qt system finished.
