My New Favorite Favites

Hello R2R! Now Introducing the new Love The Reef Hellbender favites! I just got this favorites from Archit and I am in love with the colors on this bad boy. It has THE MOST intense orange color I have ever seen striked through with blood red veins. I mean you can even see the colors on the crappy picture that I took using my iPhone! This goes down as my all time favorite and I want to thank Archit from Love The Reef for getting this and giving me the first frag. This coral is worth buying ten times over.

Interesting because the picture clearly shows the color to the best of an iPhones capabilities. There also was a more polite way of stating your comment. I would love to get a camera capable of microphotography though!

I'm sorry if I offended you, but it's just very hard to see any color when the picture is SUPER blue and unfortunately a lot of people do this...it's like corals have two faces. If you posted a picture of it with more white light I'm sure it would be great.

I would look in to any digital camera that has the capability of a custom white balance to either exaggerate a color or show a true color without any blue light what so ever. I'm currently using a Fujifilm FX550 exr *point and click* which is about $220 online and has a 16x zoom. It takes the most amazing pictures up close, but past six inches in an aquarium and it's absolute garbage IMO.

I need to look in to the photography section for exactly what camera is best...I mainly got this one for birding. Most macro shots I see on here are insane...
