Just a word of warning, tangs can be aggressive towards similar body styles, having 5 zebrasoma tangs in the same tank is going to be rough. Bold selection is mildly said. Brass cajones are needed to experiment with fish like that or a deep wallet.

a little after 7:00pm on day 3 and there all doing good. all of the tangs follow each other around the tank and no real sign of any fighting.

BTW the list of fish is...

Purple Tang
Scopas Tang
Sailfin Tang
2x Yellow Tang
and a male Blue Jaw Trigger

in a 150g dysplay

I knew the risk before I bought them. that is why I put them in at the same time and about the same size to give me the best chance.

That's a bold selection of fish. Good luck. I love Zebrasoma tang BTW.

I love them to:bigsmile: I wanted to get a Desjardini Sailfin to add to the mix (so I would have all of this type of tang that I know of besides a black tang) but the LFS I bought them at didn't have one and I figured this was enough.

Very nice!!

thanks

a quick vid I took about 30min a go. there is tons of flow in my tank, some times my fish get a little ride, lol.

I agree with having balls to add that many tangs, but sometimes it works to spread the aggression around. The Bluethroat (nice one, btw!) is big enough to be #1. The harmony of the tank will depend on the tang boss. If that one is a jerk, you'll have problems. You probably know all of this, just keep them well fed, every day.

It will be 4 years in 1 month and a couple of days, and I found a slow-mo function on my cell phone... so here's a vid (in slow motion, lol) of my fish!
I still have all my tangs. Unfortunately about a month and a half after I got the fish, the blue jaw jumped before I realized I needed a anti jump net and could get one set-up.

No sound in the vid, but some neat slow-mo action.

Don't worry about the algae and dead coral (sigh), I let my tank go for about 5-6 months starting at the end of December 2013 when I had an eye surgery. I was more focused on if I would get my vision back or not. I just didn't keep a steady dosing schedule and didn't do water changes... still fed the fish and emptied the skimmer cup. My eyes are doing better (still can't drive:sad:), and the tank is coming back around.
