Well I finally found the haddoni I want and bought it last week from Sexycorals and it was delivered Tuesday of this week. This thing is awesome! I'm loving it, but I would like it even more if my pair of picasso's would host it. I know there is a chance it will never happen, but is there anyway to intice them into it? I bought the clowns as a juvenille pair from a local breeder about 10 months ago and as far as I can tell they have paired up. They are inseparable. My biggest complaint though is they have hosted the side of my plastic overflow since the first week it seems. They never come away from it and it drives me crazy. Here is a pic of my New haddoni for all to enjoy. The pic was taken about half an hour after I got the Nem in the tank and with my iPhone4. You can only imagine how this thing looks in person. Stunning!

Very cool nem man. Just give your clowns time and they will find it. Be careful haddoni's are known for eating fish and not just small ones. What kind of clowns do you have?

You can get one of those algae / seaweed clips that look like a clown and place it by the nem, that sometimes works.

John I wouldn't push it. I have seen Clarkiis host carpets regularly and I hear it's possible for Ocellaris to host but they have to slowly acclimate to it. When I had a green carpet and first introduced it into the tank, my black and white ocellaris accidentally got stuck it in and it almost killed her. They pack a powerful sting.

You're telling me! I had no negative affect from it, but it took me awhile to get it toilet go of me when I put it in the tank. Extremely sticky. I'm lucky, that as of yet I have no reaction to anything in my tank. Thanks for the advice though Kim I won't push the clowns.

Yeah they don't bother me when I touch them either except when it nailed the underside of my forearm

I owned one once maybe 15 plus years ago. It stung a girl in the lfs and she ended up in the hospital and almost died. She must have had some sort of reaction to it..

They are fish eaters and can even eat clowns, mine did. They need to acclimate at their own pace.

Easy for me to do that by placing fish food flakes on it thru airline or the likes. It will be up to the nems to race to the food...
