I set this reef up around two years ago. I have decades of experience with reef aquariums and have spent countless hours working with mine. After setting my current tank up, I was chasing numbers, adding hardware, changing products, etc.... it stopped being fun. I kept having issues and lost the passion months ago. I cared for my fish. I feed the tank. I do water changes. And my tank has never been healthier. I am of the opinion that a mature tank is the best solution and it takes time. The end. No shortcuts. Nothing fancy. Just pure, unfiltered, plain-Jane time. Set up a tank. Do the basics. And after a year or two start adding coral. This is my hard fought for philosophy. Nobody could ever convince me that there’s a better system. I’m finished with forums [emoji4]
