Ok, I got got 2 VIPARSPECTRA Timer Control Dimmable 165W.
I have them started with whites at 1 and blues on 5. Is that okay. My other lights were only good for soft corals. For now, they are in my canopy only 2" from the water. I'm going to put a couple of brackets crossed on the inside of my canopy and run a black shower curtain rod to raise it up.
My question is, how far up should I raise it and what settings am I shooting for? I would like to be able to keep a variety of corals. Only the blues are on at the moment and there is a lot of shadows because the light is so close.
