My new Mazarra-P arrived!

Vertex is just way too pricy, and Radion who knows when it'll be available, besides I want to try out Cree XM-L's and there's none on Radion :)

Acrotrdco, do you think , you have better color rendition , i mean the changes in coloration of your corals are going to take a while, but the way you see the actual colors with new fixture, you think its better? , more vivid?, or its the same as with your older maxpects g2? you think its a better product?

by the way, you got a really beautiful tank awesome i say, you inspired my to change to leds...

kind regards and keep posting.

Beautiful set up!!!! Question.....is there a way that I could use that frame with one led unit over a 20" cube? What does the led unit measure(lxwxh) ?

Thanks - the color from the Philips Rebel 480nm and Super Actinic 420nm is very visible, and I'd say all my corals have more of a "pop" after switching to the new light, it's rather difficult to explain what a color looks like but I hope you get an idea from the photos.

The ability to dim the LED, and a fully automatic photoperiod, is already making it a much better product imho.

werry nice tank hove thick is the glass in the tank Price off the led.

The glass is 1/2" thick if that's what you were asking.

The aluminum elbow rail is about 11" long (if you install the short end down, like I did), but I don't like the look when you install the long side down (which makes the whole thing stand up too tall above the tank), but they also have plastic elbow rail which is shorter and will fit your 20" cube I think.

The LED module is 9"x9" and about 2" thick?

Wow you need 4 of them for a 65g? So how many would it take for a 210g? 6ft long? I know someone that has 4 AI's on his and is plenty. so was wondering if AI's are that much better?
Just wanting to go LED's so starting my research. thanx for any help

Ah haha yeah I think it was an overkill, but considering I was using 2x G2-160w before I made the upgrade, I want to make sure my corals are getting the same level of light they were acclimated to, so I went for 4 modules.

Call me skeptical, but before I actually measured the PAR I wasn't so sure that 240w (4 modules) output from Mazarra-P would be more powerful than 320w from my 2x G2-160w, and let alone 180w (3 modules).

Now that I'm done measuring the PAR and think about it again, maybe 3 modules would be more than sufficient.

Since you've had these running for 5 months what are your thoughts on them? Have your SPS and LPS held color and how are the growth rates? Interested in some of the long term usage of these LED's. Any info is appreciated though.

What are your settings for your intensity levels. I'm curious to see your full days program. I just installed a single on my 24x24x18 cube which replaced a 120w Chinese blue/white led. All I can say is nice color but poor intensity. I need 2 for this cube I think.

Awesome tank... would also like to know what your time points and settings are just to get an idea of where to start with mine.
