I just received my two beautiful little ORA Radial Filefish. They have taken to this purple finger leather in my tank, but have also been cruising around a lot exploring. When I approach the tank they actually will come on over to the top, obviously waiting for food. I was surprised to see that if you put your finger in, they will actually come over to it. I love their colors, they change frequently according depending on their surroundings.

Ordered them from LiveAquaria.com. They are tank bred by ORA. They never have nipped corals, eat mysis, pellets and other food. Since they're tank raised they don't really know to eat corals. I think Divers Den had one on their this evening for sale.

Sorry, just no noticed it's not on DiversDen anymore, must have been bought. Mine arrived in good shape, since they're bred by ORA, they actually are shipped from their farm in Florida. Very well taken care of fish and professional, in case you're not familiar with them.

Some updated Pics. I have this small island that I let an encrusting Gorgonian, also called Corky Finger cover. The Radial Filefish love being in it, probably much like the Xenia and Anthelia they like to hang out in.

I saw them... My only concern was that I really didn't want 2. I have a 36 cube and want to keep my bioload down.

How's your filefish doing? Have u tried a variety of foods? Do they spend most of their time in your corals or swimming around?

Doing great. Very social. They spend a lot time cruising the tank. They are often hunting looking for Copepods and Amphipods which I've been throwing in monthly. They eat frozen mysis, Rods Foods, even pellets. As my lights start to turn down they will hang out more in my Gorgonians and Leather Corals.

Here's a recent pick of one of them that hangs in this neon green sinularia.

Awesome.... I think I'm going to get a pair now. They seem to come up every few days on the live aquaria site.

What did your filefish start eating first and how long did it take till you saw them eat? I received one on Fri and have tried mysis and haven't seen him eat yet.
