My new project

First set of cabinet knobs showed up today. Still waiting on the mermaids which should be here soon. Then I’ll be able to switch them out depending on my mood! LOL!

Playing with the phone camera for fun. I can’t post videos but I have a cool vid of the tank set to Dream Weaver by Gary Wright. I take lots of pictures and videos. Probably should get a YouTube channel. LOL!

What did you use to make the screen top
It’s a screen that came off of a window that we never used when we built out hen house. White vinyl frame with fine mesh vinyl screen. It was very easy to disassemble so I cut the four sides to the proper size and reassembled it. Re-stretched the screen and painted it matte black. I had to cut the frame along the back edge so wires could pass through. That caused it to want to twist out of shape when I re-screened it so I added plexiglass corner gussets to it. Lays perfectly flat now.

This bad boy showed up yesterday. Hopefully, it won’t be needed but it helps to be prepared in the event of a power failure.
It arrived with 1/2 of a charge. Once I had it fully charged I figured I’d put it through a test run.
Plugged the Sicce 1.0 return pump into it and, at a little over 2 hours run time, it was still reading close to 100% charged. At 4 hours, it was reading still mostly charged.
We don’t usually lose power here for more than a few hours so I think this will be a good investment. It’s tiny and very light weight.

That sounds like a great investment!

Wow this tank is crazy. I just got a 13.5 of my own. What wave makers are you using? And what is your total love stock? I seem to have lost count. Was a lot to read lol.

Thank You Tanner.
the pumps are Jabao OW-10’s, fully controllable.
I lost count also on livestock.
2 Clowns
1 Goby
2 Shrimp
About 12 asst snails and a few hermit crabs
Somewhere in the area of 30 asst corals (LPS & SPS)
I just added 3 more yesterday but haven’t posted pictures yer!

love the restraint shown when just going for fish food. :D

I’m not using the stock light. I’m using a NiCrew 30watt Hyper Reef with their controller.
From looking at other Evo’s here on the forum with the stock light, I’d say it’s possible to keep LPS. SPS’s might be pushing it a little with the stock light. I’ve never kept clams but from what I understand, they require some pretty “insane” lighting.

This is an old picture and the tank has been changed around since. You can see how I have it suspended. The lens is 8” above the water line.
