I actually moved the hammer back. It’s hard to tell from that angle, especially with the macro lens filter. There is about 2” of room for the hammer to extend sweepers. I’ll try to get a top down shot today!yes if to close...

Today, I decided to do the first “massive “ water change since my tank has been up and running. For the first month, I was changing 1 gallon per day. After that I went to 1 gallon every 3 days.
The tank has been great. Fish are happy and healthy, LPS’s are growing out of control and SPS’s are encrusting (slowly).
I ran a full battery of testa today and parameters were all good but nitrate was a little high for my liking.
I changed 1.5 gallons, let that settle in for an hour, changed another 1.5 gallons, let it settle and did another 1.5 gallons an hour later.
Hope I didn’t screw things up!

The scape is so awesome!! The monti rock really makes it look awesome. Is that live rock?Also picked up some cleaner “critters” to work on the diatoms and a few more pieces of “structure”. A branch and a plate!

I also cut back my whites from 100% down to 80% and increased the whites “on” time from 4.5 hours to 5.5 hours.
Blues are still at 100% from 5:00am till 8:00pm.

Yes it is. Unfortunately, you can hardly see that plate anymore. I’ve used it as a mounting point for many corals. My Fire Shrimp lives between the plates. LOL!

Oh, and I found the missing RFA, the red one. It’s half way up the scape facing the back glass. Glad to see it’s still in there but now I need one of those mirrors on an extendable rod if I want to see it.

Random Monday morning pix.
Duncan is super happy today! I don’t remember when I got it (probably should look back through my own build thread) but it’s gone from a 2 head when I got it to a 3 head a few months ago and now it’s got 4 heads.
Weeping Willow is usually very temperamental but seems happy today!
The newer colony of Hairy Shrooms is settling in nicely. The male Clown is showing a lot of interest in moving into these guys.
Doesn’t matter where this guy winds up in the tank. It’s been moved many times. Low light, high light, low flow, strong flow, it just doesn’t care. Always swollen and hungry.
Still waiting for these to reproduce again. Started with 2, now there is 3. They seem to be happy where they are so I’m just letting them “do their thing”!
