Don't stress out about the size, a lot of people think it's easier to take care of a larger tank then a smaller one. Your mistakes are more amplified in the smaller tanks. That's the one thing i would have done differently, i went with a 55 gallon, i wish i had gone at least 100 gallons.

Just read as much as you can, and book mark this site. I've learned more here in just a couple of months then i did in my first 3 years of reefing.
