MY new xxl 750 v3

Hi, I have started a new tank I have had a 75gal for 2 years with mostly lps and now some monti and a few acros. This is my first tank with sump so I am learning. I have the Vectra l2 for my return pump and anther l2 for my manifold with three outputs. I figure if the main pump fails I can swap over. I have 3 gen5 radion blues 4 mp40 for flow. I plan to pull my apex and trident off my 75 gallon after about 3 months. I am going to wait three months before turning on the lights and i will probably start adding the fish after two months. So I have a few questions about cycling. I am using dr tims with dr tims ammonia. I am on my second day and i am following instructions but after a week it says it's cycled. So how much should I put the ammonia in after that week? Because if two much it will cause a spike in nitrite because the bacteria that eats nitrite are slower at reproducing. Another question is My 750 has duel returns off of return pump and I can't run that l2 past about 70 percent or it will suck the chamber dry. I had to adjust the height with the slidder going into the return pump chamber to keep enough water in that camber. Is this normal? I also have another return going up for my 59watt UV because I think it wouldn't work very well sucking and returning in the sump. So I have a flow sensor so I can set the flow correctly on the UV. So I am guessing I will have to turn down the return pump to compensate when I start running the UV.

Very nice!! Can’t wait to see how your tank grows over time. I went with the 200xl and I’m really happy with it. If I had the space I’d go bigger so I’m living vicariously through your tank haha

IT is cycled now having trouble keeping up orp. Got a few anthias for first fish. no lights yet running my 68 watt uv at about 500gph. ph is running at 7.9. i plan on co2 scubber like i have on my 75 gallon but no point wasting media on it with no coral. I don,t look forward to moving my coral and my fish. the one pic is my gem and long nose black tag behind. The coral pic is from 75 gal.
