That's for dang sure....I think a single polyp of blasto goes for about $60 on up at my LFS. Kind of a joke if you ask me

MmMM...pretty! I'm liking blastos alot these days. I picked up one the other day thats bright green and purplish, very beautiful. I really like the little merlotti ones too.

You can expect these prices to rise. CITIES permits are limiting wild collections to 2 per week per collerctor permit. That is why the wholesalers are fragging them and doing a shoddy job of it too. Most blastos come in healthy and are just chizeled at the wholesaler. I have also seen 1 out 4 die in the first week from shipping damage also. Damaged polyps don't fair well in LFS tanks. For these reasons they will be harder to get in the next few years and that is when their price will really rise.
