I am hoping I will be the exception to the "melting" rule with these guys, because they are one of the most vivid palys I have ever seen. Cross you fingers...

They look healthy right now dude. Best of luck! I mean it, 'cause I expect to get some from you!

DEFINITELY not Devil's Armor.

Here's Devil's Armor.

I think the pic is a little overexposed (not saturated, exposed), but I won't nitpick about that. I believe those are the real deal, though it appears they've been in some really bright light recently.

Mine dont look like this these look like my Goochsters

They look like Armageddons to me! Good luck! :)

I could always take a polyp off yours hands as back up :-) I haven't made a purchase off you in a while.

Hehe, that's the funny thing about names. Goochsters, Devil's Armor, Armor of God, Apocalypse, Lord of The Rings, and probably others, are all part of the AOG group. Everlasting Gobstoppers share some similarities in pattern, but I don't group them with the AOG's since their colors are so much more flourescent and are much more pink. All the others have a similar color of pinkish Red, and grow fast, and have similar patterns, sometimes overlapping under certain conditions. The Goochsters are similar to the Devil's Armor, but traditionally I they don't have the thin black line running along the median area of the disk. Usually more solid colored. The defining characteristic and reason for the name of Devil's Armor, is the thin black line which appears to form a set of arching wings terminating in a sort of "V" head on one side, and the center is usually black. Color will obviously vary based on the conditions they are in, but none are as distinctly metallicly bright as the Armageddons.

I still say those look like true Armageddons to me, with some room to color up even more. The characteristic markers are there.

IME Goochsters are like AOG the most. Devils Armour have more black in them. The Armageddons are second to none and differ a good deal.

The best look of the group are Arms then AOG and so on. IMHO. :)

and where to the tyree amrageddons fit in, I have one on my frag rack someplace but never really looked at it. I think I like strays much better

I have had two colonies of over 30 polyps and they have both melted... :(

They looked like these:

The guy I got these from apologized for the faded color from his lights, so I have no doubt with time and a bit of TLC, these will color up nicely. My photo taking skills are lacking as well, so the pic doesn't do them justice...

Yes they look like the real deal to me. PM me with who you got your from would you! :)
