The female i have had for 3 years she has been my baby sense i started this hobby with a 7.9gal cube tank on my nightstand. She has been known to be rather aghressive twords other clowns i have tried to pair. in my last last poor attempt at pairing her i had to remove the little guy before she ripped all his fins off. That being said this is a still a failry new pairing, they have been together for 2 weeks but im very excited to see them (her) behaving!

Generally it is extremely hard to pair an established solo female with any other smaller clown, However I have had success in pairing 2 large females but they beat on eachother for the better part of a few months. But these 2 clowns will never lay eggs as the female cannot return to male, but one will subside to the other eventually and the larger females can take the beating better than the males. Although I had a Darwin female that almost killed everything I tried to pair her with.
