hello. im new to rodi system ect. I actually dont have a aquarium yet put do plan doing a small salt water setup in the very near future. but purchased a rodi setup for a organic gardening project to remove chloramines. i kept trying to figure out what i was going to do with my waste water. i have a 75gd with the the water saver setup. since i will be using it for organic gardening and only really got it to remove the chloramines out so i can have thriving beneficial micro organisms that the chloramines would otherwise kill. With all that being said. I seen how the water saver just recycle the waste water from the first ro membrane. so i was thinking why couldnt I just recycle the second ro membrane waste water through like a 2 stage carbon block and di. since i see people using ro wastewater for their gardens. I woul have both the ro water and the ro waste going through a carbon block and di dumped into the same storage tank. p.s. i have my ro setup at moment tied into the washer machine line, which im sure my pressure is greatly reduced because i have 2 ge 10"x4" whole house with chloroguard filters. as of know it looks like my waste to ro is 2:1 upto 3:1. i could install the same setup before the filters but feel like it would be less effective at what im trying to achieve(waste water would be potentially dirtier) since i plan on combing the water anyways. I hope this all makes since and any input/info/ideas would be greatly appreciated. im trying to stick with something so i can setup up officially. thanks again and to azdesert i seen you on several forums, since ive been researching rodi systems and would love to hear your feedback. p.s.my tab is about 150-155, waste water about 185-190, ro about 5
