This rack is non porous so the encrusting stuff doesn't stick to it. Kinda cool. I do need to find it a nice spot on the rock somewhere.

That is so beautiful, very nice photos. I don't normally do named corals but this is one milli that I truly need to get. So jaw dropping. Very nice timeline, thank you very much for sharing :)

Thank you!

I also picked the frag up just to make sure it wasn't attached to the rack and it came up very easily.

Wow! Beautiful RP loki!

I would have loved it if mine had that kind of growth in a month. Mine browned out after a few days and has yet to color back up.

Thanks you! Try moving yours to a lot more light. Mine has colored up like that being directly under 8 bulb tek light about 5 inches below the water level.

It's not A. millepora, and is most likely A. hyacinthus which has a totally different growth form. It also tends to lose the green as under more light and also as it grows into a colony.

Thanks for the heads up. Mine is about 8" under the water line under a 6 bulb aquatic life T5. I'm replacing that fixture with an ATI sunpower in the next couple weeks though.

July 4th I replaced a 6 bulb current fixture for the tek and it went from a non growing green frag to this. I think the lighting plays the biggest part of this things growth and coloration. It was solid green and I never payed it any attention then once I changed the fixture I noticed the color change. I am really happy with what it has done. Since July it has fully incrusted the plug and started to grow upwards.

Yeah...I have a couple frags that are in a similar condition. Params are good, so I'm interested to see what the ATI does for the tank. Can't pass the deal up on the Sunpower. I'm pretty excited about it.

Oh yeah I run ATI also. I have gieselman bulbs on my frag tank and will never buy them again. ATI is the way to go in my opinion.

I currently run a mix of ATI and KZ lamps. I have 4 ATI blue +, a KZ Fiji Purple, and a KZ New Generation and the color is very nice. I'm just pumped to see the difference of these lamps in the ATI Sunpower! I was running 4 Blue+, a Coral +, and a Purple+ before and I think I like the color now better. I do need to replace the blue + soon. They have about 6 months on them right now. I'm not going to do that until I get the sunpower though.

I don't know about ATI's fixture but I do like their bulbs. I run 4 blue plus three white and one purple. All ATI so I'm not sure on the names.
