Since feb this year and I get great growth and color on my sps and lps ( lps had to be to lower potion to keep color). I have two frags of Oregon Tort and both have based out and have really good growth.

It's amazing that Mike is one of the old school pillars in this hobby.

That's good to know. I'm running a 8 bulb t5 set up and everything basing but nothing growing up so.... Maybe it's time to switch to controllable LEDs

Yes I started with a Nova Extreme 6xt5 setup with 2 CURRENT deep blue 12" led strips for the first two and half years of the hobby. My SPS and LPS were going good but wanted to do high end coral so went to LEDs which have paid for the themselves I frags I've sold. One of our lfs sells the LEDs light and ships across the USA. Great investment.

WOW!!!!! now that is one fun tank.

I cannot walk by my tank with out starring at every coral with a magnifying glass (tank is only 7 months ago) ... so I can only imagine the hours you spend starring and analyzing those fantastic corals. Just curious how many different corals you have, or did you lose track LOL?

Over 150+ species. Sps and lps can really differ.

Looks spectacular. I particularly love the right side of the aquascape. Your planning/design is superb, the placement of rocks, corals, and overall mixture of variety of stuff is stunning! Very well done! Only thing.... you need more fish!! ;-)

Thanks I really appreciate the complement and would love to have are three more fish but I have a Cherub Angel fish from HELL who has cause every type of fish in the past year to either jump out the tank of has stressed it to death.

Amazing tank! I am so jealous. I now have a pic of what my tank needs to look like in a couple of years.
Have fun reefing!
