My Pagoda Has acne

Any idea what’s causing these polyps to look this way? They’ve been encrusted this way for months though they’re seemingly getting better. I’ve picked off the ‘scabs’ once to see what happens; Nothing. The pagoda is about 12” in diameter. It was about 6” 6-7 years ago. The polyps are open the majority of the day. Seems healthy. My other pagoda is blemish free.

I cannot say for sure what is up with your cup. It is odd the way it looks. I can tell you mine had a mind of its own. It was closed up for 2 years but still grew, then the polyps came out like crazy.

Maybe someone else can give their experience

Yeah, polyps are fine (as evidenced by the attached photo). Wasn’t sure if it was the lights. I adjusted the light schedule a few months back due to some light bleaching on some other corals and the scabs on the pagoda. The scabs seem too random for light to be a factor.
