My poor cleaner shrimp looks paralyzed. Help!

I got a cleaner shrimp 5 days ago. He hid for 2 days, molted and then looked great for 1 day.

Now he looks like he is half paralyzed (see video).

I bought a CUC with two crabs, a cleaner shrimp, and a pistol shrimp all at once from ReefCleaners. I followed all the instructions for acclamation, which oddly enough tells the buyer NOT to drip acclimate at all, and immediately after adding everyone my two crabs died and (not surprisingly) the pistol shrimp went hiding under the sand.

I feel like maybe I should have gone against the directions and at least drip acclimated the crabs and shrimp. Thoughts?

Inverts are sensitive, I always drip acclimate for inverts, usually about 20-30 minutes, then add to the tank.

Long acclimation important for these guys. If it just molted, its skeleton may not be fully hardened. Hopefully no occupant got to it with its skeleton still soft

All I have are two super peaceful clownfish and a fire fish who barely ever comes out of his cave so I doubt anyone got to him.

Do you think there’s any chance he will survive this weird circumstance? He doesn’t look able to move normally but he still twitching around constantly.

I'm not sure about yours.
But I had 2 cleaner shrimps for just over a year and 2 weeks ago one molted and released eggs in same night and next day on sandbed like yours on side.i tried to gently move it but just twitched then lights went off and nassarius snails finished him off so only one left now
And won't be replacing when dies as just steals food from corals and killed a conch infront if me,very greedy/ violent buggers lol

I always just temp acclimate and toss em in. I have had better luck with that method then any other and I have done tens of thousands of inverts.
Very few issues if you just match salinity of tank to what’s in bag first if it’s lower or just skip it if higher.

You also have to keep salinity stable.
