I came home from a weekend away & found a shroom in my Duncan's mouth. Here is what is loooked like before:

Now:

It still has a few polyp-looking things at the top but the bottom is turning white. Will it make it? It's been thru a lot, as it was hidden behind my rockwork for a year & then after I found it, it came back beautifully. I'm so sad, it's one of my favorite corals.

Dendros are pretty hardy from past experience. I have had them lose most of the tissue and still recover. Of course, once it does, it may not be a full polyp but it should make it back.

I think I agree with you, after seeing what it came back from behind the rocks.

Oops, please move this to the LPS forum.

Yeah, I really thought they were tougher than that. Killed by a measly (tiny) shroom. I think the Dendro tried to eat it.
