My Potters wrasse

She was out in front waiting for my sandstar to surface so she could find some goodies to munch on.

Thank you everyone. I've had this one for about six months now. My first one I had for well over a year and then caught a virus from another wrasse. I love how they are constantly cruising the tank looking for food. Great fish for the reef if you can find a healthy one.

Yeah very cool fish! A friend of mine has one, definitely when its out it is a focal point of the tank. She's had hers about a year now, anyone have one for much longer?

She eats all of the prepared foods I feed. But I think all of my fish really prefer spectrum pellets over anything.
Even my yellow tail tamarin loves the pellets.

I have a 180 and just went on vacation. We had our daughter watch our tank. Big mistake! I lost around 12 fish, but my potters survived. It is a beautiful fish. After about 3 weeks of constant water changes I am still working on getting my chemical levels back to a safe zone.

That sucks! I always worry when I work out of town, but my wife has gotten pretty good at takeing care of both of my tanks. Even though she hates doing it.

I have another wrasse that I hardly ever see, but I got a picture of him this afternoon, although not very good. My little possum wrasse.

Thats cool, I have two possum wrasse, one like you have posted and a red one with stripes. You have to look for them between the rocks, they never really show themselves. They are truly possums.

I agree, I've had him well over 6 months now and only see him once a week.
Never out in the open, always close to cover, or under an overhang. Kool fish, but very cryptic. These are the first pictures I have gotten of him and it took me almost an hour for him to show up .
